Spring seems to have arrived – a beautiful day at Springdale

Wallpaper stripped off, walls filled with plaster ready for another coat, old red paint showing through from a previous owner of Springdale

Rough plastering to fill the gaps where the old wall was situated between the porch and the hall. Red paint showing through under the old wallpaper

New sun lounge, angled wall has been plastered filling in any uneven divets and holes and missing plaster where picture rail was removed

Ladders still the only access to upstairs – wall plastered

Ceiling for the new sun lounge at plasterboard stage. Joe O’Hara, Ballan Electrical, has cut 8 holes for the new lights which he wired on his last visit.

First new lights upstairs, fitted but not yet able to switch on. It is one of 9 lights for the bedroom
