Busy weekend. Scaffolding is due for removal shortly. Therefore it was an opportunity that we couldn’t miss to give the new render 2 coats of paint. We used Sandtex Masonry Paint.

Windows and doors have arrived for the front

As an extra to the new upstairs build, and as recommended by our builder, we decided to have the rest of the roofing felt and battens renewed. The felt on the old part of the house was in a bad state, so tiles needed stripping off first. In accordance with our bat licence we had two bat ecologists to supervise this part.
