Wooden beam framework in old porch area to create a new floor which will be level with the old hall dining room.

Old hallway now being stripped of old wallpaper and walls being levelled for plaster skimming. Lighter shade of plaster shows where a door has been at some time in the past

Old hallway wall now demolished extending the size of the new sun lounge. Boarded up whilst work continues inside.

This will be the ensuite bathroom. The toilet waste pipe has now been blocked in to bring the position of the toilet forward away from the sloping roof. A shelf has been created at the back.

Day 125 – Sunday 8th January 2017 – Phase 2

Lots of preparation for the start of the new extension. We applied for planning permission and are now creating an upstairs area to the house. This will become a master bedroom and ensuite bathroom and a small study. Downstairs in the large hallway which we have used as a sitting room, we would like a sun and TV room.
