Roof tiles all stripped off today under supervision from bat licensed ecologist. Balcony window taken out and flat roof taken off.  From phase 1, worktop for new kitchen which had been measured and cut to size has now been fitted.

A very important day for the build – the huge new steel beams lifted into the correct position, more scaffolding going up, a 2 day job with 4 men to create a canopy right over the house, which will mean that work is not so weather dependent and the house will be more protected when the roof comes off.  Also from phase 1, air vents over flat utility room roof going in, to try and allow air to flow and to stop build up of condensation.
